UPDATE! 09/25/21. Cici was an early rescue for SFD. Based on her behavior, we believe she almost certainly had been a family pet who was for unknown reasons abandoned in the forest. She was a smaller, social dog. In 2021 she travelled to the Tierhelfer Ingelheim shelter and was soon adopted. We are sad to report she has since died of cancer. We are grateful to our German partners and the adopter, who took a chance on our little girl and ensured that her last days were pased surrounded by love.
